Former Lieutenant George Courtenay-York Royal Navy died recently and his funeral will be held at All Saints church, Compton (near Winchester) at 1330hrs on Thursday 25 February.
He served in the Arctic Convoys during WW2 and Mrs York has requested that someone from the RN attend the funeral.
