SSBN 634 – Master Chief Tom Koester on Eternal Patrol

I’m sad to report that Tom Koester was called to eternal patrol November 7, 2015, from complications of a stroke.  Tom was a Master Chief ET (SS) from 1967 to 1970.   He was assigned as a Navy Detailer in Washington DC, and also served on Simon Bolivar (SSBN 641), and retired as an ETCM(SS).    Before becoming a Submariner, Master Chief Koester was a Navy Aviation ET.
