Please read this message and consider making a donation towards our acquisition of a Memorial Plaque and a Memorial Bench. Refer to attached Bench Plaque Initial Proposal or stonyj634.org additional information including links to example Plaques and Benches. The attached documents provide details, but I’ve summarized them below.

- A Donation Form is attached.
- The 2015 Business Meeting agreed to proceed with acquisition of one or both of these memorials but the funds should be “new donations” and not to come from the existing treasury.
- We will try and get both the plaque and bench. (Plaque cost is $3000, Bench is $2700).
- The request for donation deadline is July 3, 2016.
- If we cannot raise enough funds for both then we will acquire one.
- This will be an email solicitation since a USPO mail out (Cost over $400) would probably not be cost effective.
- Donations will be confidential and there is not minimum or maximum donation.

I have 1,170 email addresses in my address book. Usually about 100 or so bounce back for no reason. I intend to resend to the bounce backs since I would like to get this to as many crew members as possible. Hopefully there are 100 to 150 ex 634 crew-member that will make a donation.
