I have been notified of the passing of two more of our shipmates. As always, it’s sad making these notifications.
Dennis Bohrer MM1(SS)
Petty Officer Bohrer departed on eternal patrol on December 22, 2016. It was reported to me that he died peacefully in his home of cardiac arrest. Petty Officer Bohrer was on the Commissioning Blue Crew of the USS Stonewall Jackson (SSBN-634) and served aboard from 1964 to 1966. He also served on USS Aspro (SS-309) as an MMFN in 1961.

Grady Biby MMCS(SS)
Chief Biby departed on eternal patrol on February 10, 2010 at age 69. The cause of death was mesothelioma. He served on the Stonewall Jackson (SSBN 634) as an MMCS(SS), Blue Crew from 1972 to 1977.
Chief Biby also served on the following boats:
USS Sennet (SS-408) MMFN(SS) 1960-61
USS James Monroe (SSBN-622) MM2(SS) 1962-65
USS George Washington Carver (SSBN-656) MMC(SS) 1965-69
