Thanks to John Lookabill RMCS (SS) 67-72 / COB, the Bench has been installed. It is at the Cold War Memorial (aft end of the Lewis & Clark Sail) near Patriot’s Point in Charleston SC.
We will have a dedication ceremony of this bench at our next reunion (Sept 27 to Oct 1, 2017) which will be held at Charleston SC. For all of our shipmates, I thank those who donated, and especially Chief Lookabill who managed the acquisition and installation of the bench.
