The dedication will take place on Sunday 24th April 2016.
There will be the normal church service at St Helens Parish Church, Stapleford at 12noon, followed by a Service of Dedication in Walter Parker Square at approximately 1315. There will be no meal at the Creme Restaurant as in previous years but anyone who wishes to, can obtain food at the Admiral Sir John Borlaise (Witherspoons) which is about 50 yards from the new memorial site, where we have arranged a side room be available for our supporters.
We would appreciate support from as many Branches who would like to parade their Branch Standard at the church and in the square.
The memorial will be constructed of black granite with gold lettering and will include the Respecting Valour Plaque that was presented a few years ago. We would appreciate any help that you can give.
