One million deaths now expected across China as Covid wave rages out of control
MORE than five million people in the Chinese city of Shanghai have contracted Covid and cases are expected to surge further in the wake of restrictions being lifted.
Coronavirus rules were eased in China just two week ago but staff at a Shanghai hospital have been told to prepare for a “tragic battle”.
Medical chiefs expect half of the city’s 25 million population will be infected with Omicron by the end of next week…

This is where it all started a couple of years ago and the UK was ill prepared.
Now is the time to ban all flights to and from China whether direct flights or transfer flights and not be allowed in UK airspace and redirected to their previous destination.
And all ships unloading in the UK the crew must not be not allowed ashore unless fully quarantined.
Chinese residents or any other with residential status can be returned to China, non of this dual nationality status to be considered. One or the other not either, or…
Example, fly out on a Chinese Passport / Permit and return on a UK Passport / Permit. This happened thousands of times during the last epidemic… and no one took any notice…
