iTunes install error

After having spent hours trying to fix my iTunes program on my state of the art all in one 23inch standalone pc running windows 7… I eventually managed to fix-it….

It is a fix for this particular error only… “Could not open key”

When installing iTunes for Windows on a 64-bit Windows Vista or Windows 7 system, you may see a “Could not open key” error message citing a registry key of the form UNKNOWN\Components\[LongStringOfLettersAndNumbers]\[LongStringOfLettersAndNumbe rs]. For example:

Could not open key: (the letters/numbers may be different for you. Dont worry)

UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8
\b25099274a207264182f8181add555d0
.

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel

Here is a link to your Get Out of Jail Card. It is in .doc format and is 4 pages in total (with pictures)… So, hit the link, print it out and good luck… linkFoxnwolf comments…
