The Saddlers Arms – Under New Ownership
Former CSgt Darren “ Daz” Notman – Drill Instructor, was medically discharged from the Royal Marines after 15 Years of service just under 2 years ago and has now found a new found career in the licence trade. Darren and his wife Tessa moved into The Saddlers Arms in August 2013 with their 2 children, having frequented the pub on numerous occasions over the years. Seeing the pub over the last few years have a series of management changes they decided that, when they saw it for lease early in 2013 they decided on putting something back into the community, and to cater for families – something which they thought exmouth lacks in a pub style environment.
Having been recently renovated and upgraded by Darren & Tessa, they are proud that The Saddlers Arms has now started to build their reputation for great food and service.
The welcoming and warming atmosphere along with the cosy and comfortable surroundings allow our customers to relax and enjoy themselves. Our Menu caters as Simple Pub Style food, but done well. We use local suppliers, so support other businesses within the area. Our food is homemade and freshly prepared in our kitchen.
The Saddlers Arms has become a firm favorite for an ever increasing number of regulars within the Lympstone & Exmouth area.
We are now open 7 days a week serving food from our tasty pub grub menu between 1200 -1500 & 1730 – 2030 weekdays & 1200 – 2030 on a Saturday.
On Sundays we serve our fantastic roasts from 1200 until 1800.
The Saddlers Arms is the perfect place for a coffee, a family and friends to get together, business lunches or even a romantic meal for two!

The Saddlers Arms – Location
The Saddlers Arms is a large destination food pub located on the outskirts of Lympstone. The pub is around a 10 minute walk from the village and has a picturesque woodland situation with a small stream running through the garden. With ample parking and a dining area that can support up to 60 covers.
There is also a separate lounge area that is popular with locals just looking for a quiet drink. with a double sided open fire that is lit throughout the winter. A Large Garden area with a separate children’s play area is boasted to the rear of the establishment.
The A376 is considered the chosen route of choice, therefore making it the main route to and from the exmouth area to the M5 Motorway, Exeter or nearby neighboring villages. It is heavily populated at all times of the year with Holiday Makers and campers to the nearby Sandy Bay Holiday Park and Exmouth Beach.
