{"id":2821,"date":"2015-11-11T13:08:32","date_gmt":"2015-11-11T13:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.foxnwolf.com\/locknload\/?p=2821"},"modified":"2015-11-11T13:13:34","modified_gmt":"2015-11-11T13:13:34","slug":"happy-birthday-to-victor-craddock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foxnwolf.com\/locknload\/?p=2821","title":{"rendered":"Happy Birthday To Victor Craddock"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Happy Birthday To Victor Craddock<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2823\" src=\"http:\/\/www.foxnwolf.com\/locknload\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Victor-Craddock.jpg\" alt=\"Victor Craddock\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/foxnwolf.com\/locknload\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Victor-Craddock.jpg 400w, https:\/\/foxnwolf.com\/locknload\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Victor-Craddock-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Victor Craddock will be 90 years old on November 21st and I wondered if you could surprise him by mentioning his birthday in your November news sheet.\u00a0 He joined the Royal marines on 13th January 1944 at Plymouth and his number was PLY\/X4446.\u00a0 At first he was a sea service Marine and served on HMS Newfoundland but later volunteered for Commandos and trained in, I think, Towyn and then at Achnacarry.<\/h3>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">He was invalided out of the service in 1954 after falling from a window in Malta.\u00a0 He is very proud to have been a Royal marine Commando and was Chairman of the Basingstoke branch of the RMA and also the Chairman of the RNA.
