I have a little Satnav
\nIt sits there in my car
\nA Satnav is a driver’s friend
\nIt tells you where you are<\/p>\n
I have a little Satnav
\nI’ve had it all my life
\nIt does more than the normal one
\nMy Satnav is my wife<\/p>\n
It gives me full instructions
\nOn exactly how to drive
\n“It’s thirty miles an hour” it says
\n“And you’re doing thirty five”<\/p>\n
It tells me when to stop and start
\nAnd when to use the brake
\nAnd tells me that it’s never ever
\nSafe to overtake<\/p>\n
It tells me when a light is red
\nAnd when it goes to green
\nIt seems to know instinctively
\nJust when to intervene<\/p>\n
It lists the vehicles just in front
\nIt lists those to the rear
\nAnd taking this into account
\nIt specifies my gear<\/p>\n
I’m sure no other driver
\nHas so helpful a device
\nFor when we leave and lock the car
\nIt still gives its advice<\/p>\n
It fills me up with counselling
\nEach journey’s pretty fraught
\nSo why don’t I exchange it
\nAnd get a quieter sort?<\/p>\n
Ah well, you see, it cleans the house
\nMakes sure I’m properly fed
\nIt washes all my shirts and things
\nAnd – keeps me warm in bed!<\/p>\n
